FAQs

  • What services and resources does the CCB offer?
    • Accessing Our Collection – The CCB houses a non-circulating research collection of children’s and young adult books. Our emphasis is on children’s books published within the last year and a small reference collection, and older books are being added to the Social Sciences, Health, and Education Library (SSHEL) collection in the Main Library. You may visit the CCB during our open hours to access books from our collection or browse our collection on LibraryThing.
    • Programming – We host events and writing hours during the academic year for members of the youth literature and librarianship community at UIUC and beyond. Subscribe to our listserv for news and updates!
